For adults who are looking to learn the sport of rowing in a team environment with professional coaching.  Classes will begin indoors on our ergometers.  You will then learn stroke mechanics and blade technique on land follwed by basic skills and drills in rowing shells on the water.    Swim tests are required.

Intermediate Sweep Rowing is for adults with an understanding of stroke fundamentals and knowledge of rowing. You will become a more confident, efficient rower. This class will focus on synchronization, timing, drills, and blade work.


Join Westford-Littleton Community Crew on Thursday evenings for our women's rowing clinic.  This is a fantastic way for women to discover the many benefits of rowing with the sessions taught in a fun and supportive learning environment!  Swim tests are required.








Our Masters Invite You



This program is offered to anyone out of college looking to compete with others in Masters rowing.  We'll enhance fitness level, skill & technique in preparation for races in late spring & summer.  Prior rowing experience is required.  Swim test is required.


Our Morning Row program is offered to adults who are interested in recreational rowing and wish to increase their fitness level.  Participants will learn the fundamentals of rowing, boat handling and terminology.  Swim tests are required.

This program is for adults with an understanding of stroke fundamentals and knowledge of rowing.  You will learn how to increase your confidence and efficiency as a rower.  Swim tests are required.


Highly motivated rowers can continue to train in the erg room to keep their skills sharp and their fitness at racing level. Erging is an efficient, low impact exercise that is one of the best all-around fitness workouts. The erg room is available during the Recreation Department’s hours of operation


Whether you already row or are considering rowing to keep in shape, lose weight, cross-train for another sport, compete on the water or rehabilitate from injury or surgery, rowing is the complete exercise for you. Arms, legs, chest, back, abs— even your mind. Your whole body gets a complete workout from the efficient, rhythmic motion of rowing.
