Capital Equipment Fee

The Capital Equipment Fee fuels the ongoing need for new equipment as our program grows. As our program gets bigger each year, the need is there to update and build up our oars, shells, ergs and other equipment that is used on a daily basis.  This is a common structure for crew programs in that the base fee goes to support day to day operating costs of our program.

Your capital equipment fee check must be made payable to "WFOR" (Westford Friends of Recreation). WFOR Crew is a non-profit organization responsible for prioritizing the expenditures from the capital equipment funds, and is managed independently from the Westford Recreation Department. As a result, this part of your payment is tax deductible as well. If you choose to add greater than 10% of the cost of the program that you are participating in we wish to thank you in advance for your generosity.
