Worcester - October 27, 2013
With some boats at the Head of the Fish, Westford-Littleton was represented this weekend by its novice squad and boy's 3rd varsity 8+ at the Mass Public School Fall State Championships.  All 4 boats that competed in Worcester had great finishes in the race with 2 boats bringing home silver medals!!  The boys novice 8+ finished 2nd in their race, only 8 seconds behind 1st place and holding off a Hingham boat by .52 seconds, while the girls novice 8+ also finished in 2nd in their race, finishing only 7 seconds behind 1st.  The girls 2nd novice 8+ finished 6th in the same race, finishing as the highest 2nd novice boat in the event!  Finally, the boys 3rd varsity 8+ competed hard, finishing 8th in an event with all other 1st varsity boats and completing the course in a time that would make them the best 3rd 8+ at the regatta.  Great job by all who raced!!
